Belgian Women in Science, also known as BeWise, organises its Annual General Meeting early this May. All members and supporters are kindly invited to take part. The event will take place at the Royal Institute for Natural Science in Brussels.
Proceedings will start with a 30 min session for members, followed by an overview of past and future activities. Invited speaker Dr. Els Consuegra will introduce “Gender in the classroom and how this affects the teachers’ attitude“. BeWiSe will also celebrate honorary new member Prof. Wilfrieda Decraemer, co-founder of BeWiSe, who will present her research/career and involvement in gender equal opportunities in science.
