20th November 2014 – Free and Open Access to Biodiversity Data:
Discover, query, download and use GBIF mediated data
– PhD students

GBIF (Global Biodiversity Information Facility) Day  at UCL (Université Catholique de Louvain)  –  BDIV (Biodiversity Research Centre)

The Belgian Biodiversity Platform will organize the event – with André Heughebaert (GBIF – Belgian Biodiversity Platform) welcoming  you at his seminar- within UCL’s Biodiversity Research Center as a way to explain how can anyone, anywhere to access data about all types of life on Earth, shared across national boundaries via the Internet.

The informal context of the seminars makes this the best place for PhD students to “exercise” their communication skills and to get a critical view on their work.

This seminar is therefore an appropriate moment to exchange scientific knowledge, to stimulate curiosity and fruitful discussions.
