The second Pan-European Stakeholder Consultation Meeting (PESC-2) for IPBES (Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services) is organised by the Swiss Biodiversity Forum with the support of the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN), and in collaboration with other European Platforms (e.g. NEFO Germany, Belgian Biodiversity Platform, JNCC UK, FRB France, Plataforma Portuguesa da IPBES.
Objectives of the meeting are to:
a) inform on what has been and is going on in IPBES, and how to participate in the current work programme
b) discuss and give input on the IPBES Regional assessment of Europe and Central Asia
c) contribute to the mobilisation of experts and stakeholders across the Pan-European and Central Asian region.
