The EGU 2017 General Assembly is the largest geosciences meeting in Europe and brings together thousands of geoscientists from all over the world. Covering all disciplines of the Earth, planetary and space sciences, it provides an opportunity for journalists and science writers to talk to researchers, learn about new developments and find out about the latest discoveries in a variety of areas, such as climate, space and planetary science missions, natural disasters, and seafloor exploration.
From 23 to 28 April 2017, the EGU 2017 General Assembly, the meeting has an extensive programme which you can access here. The scientific programme of the General Assembly 2017 includes special scientific and interdisciplinary events as well as oral and poster sessions on disciplinary and interdisciplinary topics covering the full spectrum of the geosciences and the space and planetary sciences. Furthermore, medal lectures, great debates, short courses, townhall meetings, and splinter meetings complete the overall programme.
