CETAF 38: CETAF officially launches its 10-year Strategy
This week, in Geneva, on the 13th and 14th of October 2015, the latest General Meeting of CETAF members is taking place.
This Autumn meeting is an important one because this is where the CETAF Executive Committee will launch the CETAF Strategy for 2015 to 2025.
Co-hosted by the Conservatory and Botanical Garden of the City of Geneva and the Museum of Natural History of the City of Geneva, CETAF 38 will officially open on Tuesday at 1.00 PM with the opening words of Michelle J. Price, Chair and the Welcome words from the directors of the co-hosting institutions, Pierre-André Loizeau and Jacques Ayer.
Among items of importance, not only will the Strategy and Strategic Development Plan 2015-2025 be submitted to the collective approval of the CETAF members, but CETAF will also make public several important publications such as its brand new ABS (Access & Benefit-Sharing) Code of Conduct. A practical guide designed to help institutions in the post Nagoya Protocol era.
