The 52nd Consortium of the European Taxonomic Facilities General Assembly (CETAF52) will meet on the 23rd and 24th of November in Israel, in two hosted venues, the National Natural History Collection of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Steinhardt Museum of Natural History of the Tel Aviv University.
This meeting will bring together representatives from the 74 members of CETAF from 24 European countries and associated states.
CETAF52 will be a moment to share the outcomes and the achievements of CETAF and of its ongoing initiatives and projects. During the two-day event, participants will hear of recent developments within CETAF as well as contributing to the creation of the new CETAF Business Plan. They will also focus on furthering the CETAF Research Agenda during an interactive session.
“It is an exciting time for CETAF and the CETAF Community as we are in an unprecedented position, with DiSSCo entering the transition phase towards becoming a fully operational infrastructure and the CETAF community project – Transforming European Taxonomy through Training, Research and Innovations (TETTRIS) just launched – says Michelle Price, Vice-Chair of CETAF (Acting Chair). The Agenda contains strategic elements for CETAF with the special focus on the development CETAF business model and the CETAF Research Agenda.”
