
Description
The aim of the course is to provide a general overview of the concepts, foundations, and methods of morphometrics (traditional and geometric morphometrics) and to illustrate its diverse applications in biological sciences (e.g., systematics, ecology, and evolution). The course includes lectures and practicals.

Trainees can bring their own laptops, but this is not mandatory.
Learning outcomes:
Working knowledge of the various morphometric methods and ability to fully implement a morphometric study (choice of descriptors, data acquisition, statistical analyses, interpretations, and visualizations).
