Consultation on European e-infrastructure

Monday, 4 April, 2016

Coinciding with the consultation on priorities for the upcoming research priorities on societal challenges, the European Commission has started consultations on the Horizon 2020 work programme covering the period 2018-2020 regarding e-infrastructures.

The new work programme will largely build on the recent one, highlighting research of integrating and consolidating e-infrastructure platforms, prototyping innovative e-infrastructure platforms and services, and policy and international cooperation for e-infrastructures.

The consultation process involves an open calling for stakeholders to identify key challenges they are facing concerning e-infrastructures, such as the main obstacles for reinforcing the cooperation between European e-infrastructure service providers and their scientific users.

The deadline for this consultation is 30 April 2016.
